SMB Sales Representative
Key Responsibilities
• Outbound Sales Calls: Actively prospect, initiate, and follow up with small business leads via phone to sell software solutions tailored to gym owners, membership clubs, not-for-profits, and more.
• Value Proposition Presentation: Clearly communicate the value of our software solutions to decision-makers within small businesses, ensuring they understand how the product can meet their specific needs.
• Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact through to closing the deal, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience for the customer.
• CRM Usage: Utilize our CRM system to track sales activities, maintain up-to-date records, and follow up with prospects in a timely and organized manner.
• Closing Sales: Demonstrate a strong track record of closing sales, ensuring prospects move throughthe funnel effectively and convert into long-term customers.
• Lead Generation & Qualification: Identify new opportunities within your target market and work proactively to qualify and nurture leads.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Manager and team to share insights, refine sales strategies, and contribute to team goals and targets.
Qualifications
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in sales, ideally in the SMB space, with a focus on phone-based sales and closing deals. Experience selling software, freight, telecommunications, insurance, or other business solutions to small businesses is highly preferred.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and close sales in a competitive environment.
• CRM Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) to track leads, pipeline progress, and customer interactions.
• Sales Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to engage prospects,
understand their needs, and present a compelling value proposition.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with small business environments and challenges, especially in the gym, membership, and not-for-profit sectors, is a plus.
• Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Driven to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with technology and software solutions, with the ability to quickly learn new tools
