Mandarin Language Specialist
Overview: We are seeking a fluent Mandarin speaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to support various business functions, including customer service, translation, communication, and document management. The position offers opportunities to engage with Mandarin-speaking clients and contribute to the growth of our global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide written and verbal translation between Mandarin and English for various business-related documents, emails, and correspondence.
- Assist with customer support, addressing queries, and providing solutions in Mandarin.
- Communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients, partners, and suppliers as needed.
- Support internal teams with Mandarin-language resources and materials.
- Maintain accurate records of all translated materials and communications.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication across language barriers.
- Assist in localizing marketing materials, websites, and product descriptions for the Mandarin-speaking audience.
- Handle phone calls and video conferences with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in Mandarin (both written and spoken).
- Strong command of the English language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience in translation, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in translation.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of cultural nuances and sensitivity when working with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or support role.
